2.1 Our Responsibilities
Safe Environment: We ensure that all our dance studios and facilities are safe and fit for purpose. Including indoors and outdoors.
Risk Assessments: Regular risk assessments are conducted to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Training and Information: We provide comprehensive health and safety training to our team and volunteers.
Emergency Procedures: Clear procedures are in place for emergencies, including fire evacuations and first aid.
Equipment Safety: All equipment used in our activities is regularly checked and maintained.
2.2 Your Responsibilities
Follow Guidelines: Adhere to the health and safety guidelines provided by our team.
Report Hazards: Inform us immediately of any hazards or unsafe conditions you notice.
Appropriate Attire: Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for dance and exercise activities.
Participation: Ensure you are physically fit to participate in activities and inform us of any medical conditions or injuries, before class/activities.

3.1 In-Person Activities
Studio Safety: Our studios (that we currently hire), are regularly inspected to ensure they are clean, well-lit, and free from hazards.
Personal Safety: Participants are required to wear suitable attire and use protective gear when necessary.
Emergency Exits: Please also familiarise yourself with the location of emergency exits and assembly points.
3.2 Online and Hybrid Activities
* Ergonomic Setup: Ensure your home dance or workspace is safe, with efficient space to set up for online classes. Ensure your space is clear from obstruction, distraction and loud noise.
Secure Platforms: We use secure and reliable platforms for online classes and meetings.
Regular Check-ins: We maintain regular communication to monitor your well-being during online activities.

4.1 Accident Reporting
Report Incidents: All accidents and near-misses must be reported immediately to our staff.
